Shake-up puts Netshitenzhe on DBSA board

Joel Netshitenzhe, a former government policymaker and a director at the Mapungubwe Institute, is among the new board members at the Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA). The bank announced a shake-up that also saw the appointment of Barry Hore, the man behind the IT operations that transformed the SA Revenue Service into a world-class tax collection agency. Netshitenzhe and three other nonexecutive directors, including academic Edgar Pieterse, joined the board as the term of office for three board members expired. Mark Swilling, the board chair, is one of the outgoing board members.
